Artist Isaac Murdoch and the Stories of the Seven Grandfather Drums

Please join us as we explore the Seven Sacred Teachings − wisdom, love, respect, bravery, honesty, humility and truth − through Anishinaabe artist Robert Houle’s Seven Grandfathers, with Ojibwe artist Bomgiizhik (Isaac Murdoch).

Bomgiizhik (Isaac Murdoch) is an Ojibwe Fish Clan, artist from Serpent River First Nation, who is best known for his for his art "doodles”. He has spent his life learning from elders in northern Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He is a well-respected storyteller and traditional knowledge-keeper who has committed his life to the preservation of Anishinaabe cultural practices.

Closed Captioning is available for this program. We are currently in the process of providing correct Anishinaabemowin terms, and the Closed Captioning will be updated once complete.
