Tour of Kite-Uhn Research Labs for Safe and Accessible Housing

Home builders are looking for tangible examples of accessibility to inform their design of new housing. Enter the KITE Research Institute at the University Health Network, a world leader in complex rehabilitation science dedicated to improving the lives of people living with the effects of disability, illness and aging. Its advanced simulation labs are used to shape guidelines for built environments, improve the design of safety and mobility aids, and invent and test new products and treatments that help with activities of daily living. 

In this tour organized by the Accelerating Accessibility Coalition, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at the latest research and product/solution testing driving innovation in safe and accessible housing. Explore and experience state-of-the-art facilities firsthand and meet leading scientists at the forefront of KITE’s mission.
