TimberFever® is a design-build competition presented by Moses Structural Engineers. They bring architecture and civil engineering students from universities across Canada together to build a life-size structure out of wood.
Their mission is to create collaboration between students of architecture and engineering, while developing design, construction and communication skills that will be invaluable to their future careers.
TimberFever was inspired by the Defi Cecobois competition held annually by Cecobois in Quebec. Nous vous remercions, Cecobois, de nous inspirer!
TimberFever® 2024 will take place in Toronto from September 13 to 15. Architecture and Engineering students will compete in teams with the assistance of professional mentors to design the best solution for this year’s competition brief.
Come out and judge the structures this Sunday, September 15th, as university students from both Architecture and Civil Engineering programs collaborate, and bring ideas to life. The judging will be followed by an awards ceremony happening at 3:00 PM at the Sears Atrium.
