ROMWalk: Riverdale

Join the Royal Ontario Museum for a tour of the Riverdale neighbourhood in Toronto!

Riverdale’s history includes indigenous settlements, a river, brickmakers, jailbreakers, medical facilities, a park, and even a Russian royal. View the oldest, continuously occupied house in Toronto, award winning restorations, public art and one of Toronto’s Carnegie libraries. Explore the evolution of this neighbourhood, which reflects the growth and changing demographics of the city.

The walk takes place rain or shine and is approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours long.

ROMWalks is organized by ROM’s Department of Museum Volunteers to provide support for the Museum. ROM is an agency of the Government of Ontario.

Meeting Place:
550 Broadview Ave., Toronto  West side Broadview Ave. at Withrow Ave

Finish:
Broadview Ave and Gerrard St. East

Registration is not required for Free Walks.
