All those with OAA status can now register for free to attend this year’s International Architectural Roundtable, “Design Solutions for the Housing Crisis.” The event takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building on Wednesday, November 29 from 9 am to 10:30 am as part of The Buildings Show, and is co-sponsored by the OAA. (Please note, however, this is not an “OAA event” itself, and therefore members must add any Continuing Education hours to their Transcript.)
Moderated by architectural writer and critic Adele Weder, the event brings together U.K. architect Alison Brooks (Alison Brooks Architects), Italian architect Alfonso Femia (Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia), and Canadian architects Janna Levitt (LGA Architectural Partners) and Ouri Scott (Urban Arts Architecture Inc.) to explore how design solutions can help meet the housing needs of a growing population around the world.
To learn more about the event, and also obtain your free code, visit the OAA Website. In addition to the roundtable, various other events will be taking place at The Buildings Show—early-bird pricing is in effect until September 30.
