As part of the ICFF Architettura & Design program, internationally celebrated architect Mario Cucinella will appear in Toronto on July 8 for a keynote event hosted at Canadian Stage, in partnership with Toronto Metropolitan University.
Known for his pioneering approach to sustainable architecture and human-centred design, Cucinella will offer an in-depth presentation of his most influential work, including the newly unveiled Italian Pavilion for EXPO 2025 in Ōsaka—a project that embodies cross-cultural collaboration and environmental innovation. The evening will include a moderated panel discussion with leading architects and urbanists, followed by a reception.
The following evening, on July 9, Cucinella will inaugurate his first Canadian exhibition at TMU’s Paul H. Cocker Gallery, showcasing models, drawings, and a sustainability timeline from his studio’s most impactful projects.
These events mark a rare opportunity for the Canadian architecture community to engage directly with one of the field’s most influential voices.
ICFF, presented by Lavazza, will also program an additional Architettura & Design event on July 18th with the World Premiere of the new Francesca Molteni documentary. More information and tickets are on sale at
