In preparation to welcome new students to campus this September, John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture at the University of Toronto (UofT), Landscape, and Design is hosting their 2024 Undergraduate Academic Orientation. As a new student, there is a lot of new information to learn, so the UofT Daniels Faculty of Architecture have put together a handbook and a series of virtual presentations to help new students transition to university life.
These presentations will help prepare you to understand degree and program requirements, learn about steps in course enrolment, learn about fees and finances, and find out about the resources and opportunities for a new academic journey. Academics: What you need to know about your first year
Wednesday, July 3
In this session, you’ll learn the basics of being a Daniels student. You will be introduced to the Daniels programs of study & degree requirements, gain an understanding of course enrolment, and learn about services that will support your success.

Q&A with Visual Studies Director + ORSS Staff
Monday, July 8, 10:00–11:00 a.m. EST
In this live Zoom session, you'll meet Assistant Professor Gareth Long, Director of the Visual Studies programs at the Daniels Faculty. Gareth will provide an overview of the BAVS program and answer your questions. Staff from the Office of the Registrar + Student Services (ORSS) will also be available.

Led by students and alumni, this Ask Me Anything session will provide you with a glimpse into the student experience at the Daniels Faculty. During this virtual panel, you will hear from current student leaders about activities they are or have been involved in, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you have been wanting to ask a current student!
