Meet your Colleagues, Celebrate Your Profession and Get Informed from the Comfort of Your Chair!
The CSLA-OALA Congress Planning Committee will be offering the 2021 Congress via an online platform for the first time in the history of the Congress. The Committee reviewed a number of factors and decided that due to the current global climate and the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, the CSLA-OALA 2021 Congress will be held completely virtual in May 2021. We are excited to plan an accessible online program that will offer education, engagement and networking to landscape architects all across the country! Save the travel time and accommodation costs, and still gain all the benefits of this exciting annual event.
We are currently negotiating with service providers and the volunteers to ensure we offer the highest quality virtual experience to our members.
Please continue to visit the Congress website as we will post an updated program in the coming weeks!

Nature-Based Solutions: The Green Recovery that Ensures a Great Recovery
Scientists estimate we have less than ten years in which to reduce concentrations of greenhouse gasses in the atmosphere if we are to keep global temperature change below 2⁰C. Warming more than this threshold will result in increasingly more chaotic and more frequent impacts to weather, climate and ecological systems. Continuing and escalating changes in weather and climate are already having immediate, long-term and trickle-down effects on both human society and the ecosystems that shelter and sustain us.
