Call for Presenters 2022

As we continue to cope with a global pandemic, an even greater challenge—the climate emergency—needs attention and creative approaches. The Ontario Association of Architects is currently looking for presenters for its 2022 OAA Conference, "Inspiring Climate Action," which takes place in Toronto at the Beanfield Centre from May 11 to 13, 2022.

Our planet faces unimaginable disaster. Buildings new and old must be resilient not only in the face of quickly changing climate patterns and disasters, but also in terms of carbon and energy efficiency. The time for talking and planning has passed—we now need action!

The 2022 OAA Conference will showcase creative ideas and sustainable projects that explore architectural thinking applied to the climate crisis, seeking a wide range of perspectives from diverse experts within the architecture profession and beyond. Are you interested in sharing your insight and expertise with others in the profession? Individuals and organizations are invited to submit a brief outline of their proposed session. The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, November 16. To apply, click on the button below (Presenters should be aware their sessions may be livestreamed and/or recorded for a second virtual showing.)

Submission Deadline: November 16, 2021
