This session will cover the proper design of long-lasting clay brick and block assemblies, as well as a
short history of cavity walls and their properties.
Learning Objectives
- Understand clay brick assemblies and water resistance and crack control.
- Explore the short history of cavity walls.
- Discuss properties of cavity walls including fire resistance, thermal design, and wall tie requirements.
- Learn about materials and installation procedures that promote proper performance.
