Reimagine Ventilated Façade Systems: What's New, How to Specify and What's Possible?

Hosted by Steni and U-kon

1 ConEd Learning Hour

7:00 a.m. - 8:15 a.m.

Ventilated facades have been used for a millennium. Cladding and attachment systems continue to
expand to offer inspiration and cost effective constructability. This presentation will explore how FRP
and thermally broken facade systems go further still.

Learning Objectives

  1. What is fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) from Steni and why does it matter?
  2. How to design with FRP facades. Learn the key success factors.
  3. Equip the architect and builder with the knowledge on how to specify thermally broken facade
systems, and how to avoid "bags of components" that do not meet project goals.
  4. Architects and Builders will leave knowing about how colour, texture, construction and affordability
change their approach to ventilated facades with FRP and thermally broken facade systems.
