Training Course in Passive House Design and Construction

This is a challenging and intensive full week of instruction aimed at motivated building professionals who want to learn the art of Passive House design, the world’s leading standard in truly sustainable construction. This course includes an optional day tour of Toronto-area projects on Saturday 5 May (included in the cost).

We’ll give you the knowledge and tools you need to design and build compliant Passive Houses in Canada today – that means an 80 – 90% reduction in annual heating and cooling energy without the need for expensive renewable energy systems.

Training material is geared to practical applications with respect to our building codes, and incorporates case study material and lessons learned from Passive House projects we’re involved in across Canada, including architectural details for thermal bridge-free design.
