This OAA course provides an engaging overview to the business of architecture with a focus on the requirements and best practices for architectural services. Consisting of five key lessons, the entire course is delivered on three consecutive days. Taught by approximately 10 experts in the field of architecture and finance, lesson discussions span from industry requirements in Ontario to the exploration of business principles verses the operation elements of a professional practice. Topics include developing and modifying your strategic initiatives as an architect in the marketplace, what are the professional requirements, and how to managing your finances, projects plus client agreements.
