The last event of the Fall 2024 Series is scheduled for next week, Mon. Nov.4 at 5:45 pm in the Lecture Hall. The guest lecturer will be architect Jason McLennan from McLennan Design (Seattle, WA). This lecture is presented by the OAA. It is free and open to all.
Jason McLennan will join us next week as LU will award him an honorary doctorate.
Born in Sudbury, Jason McLennan is considered one of the world’s most influential individuals in the field of architecture and green building movement today. He is the creator of the Living Building Challenge – the most stringent and progressive green building program in existence, as well as a primary author of the WELL Building Standard. He is the author of seven books on Sustainability and Design. He serves as the Chief Sustainability Officer at Perkins&Will and is the Managing Principal at McLennan Design. He also sits on the International Advisory Board of the McEwen School of Architecture.
