The effects of climate change are now being felt across the world with visible environmental, economic and social impacts. Mitigation to reduce carbon emissions is only slowly taking hold. With green building considered one of the most organized responses to climate change worldwide, Building Lasting Change 2015 will provide the platform to hear Canadian and global experts share their insights. The focus is on how green building and sustainable neighbourhood development contribute to building resilient cities and enhancing human health and well-being while helping regenerate our natural environment.
We have over 80 speakers in the 30 education sessions, however the keynote speakers are Michael Braungart and Ed Mazria.
