Cities are facing unprecedented challenges to their built environments. The BUILD Ideas conference arose from a need and desire to promote discussion about how building science can help us meet those challenges.
Starting with several thought-provoking themes, expert speakers will give short, focused talks of 15-20 minutes, followed by moderated discussion. You can expect insightful ideas about how the industry is changing, based on experience and research. Our goal is to encourage questions and start conversations that will continue long after the conference ends.
In keeping with that goal, BUILD Ideas is taking place in conjunction with the second Building Science Roundtable. The experts and key stakeholders involved in the Roundtable will be presenting the results of their latest meetings and inviting feedback at a plenary session on October 20th, during the conference reception.
