Habitats along the Regent Canal, England

Drawings by Ronak Gandhi
OAA Student Assoicate, Master of Architecture student at Carleton University

This post is part of our summer 2018 blOAAg series, Summer Sketches: Capturing the Essence of Architectural Ideas.

These sketches were from a study abroad in London, England. This project was about building habitats along the Regent Canal by the London Zoo and how people and animals view each other. The focus was on feral cats and how they move thru space, which is vertically through a series of platforms and nests. The ultimate goal was to create a hyper-site: a site that can purposefully reshape itself!
