The Canadian Handbook of Practice (CHOP), published by the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), establishes a reference document for concise and current information to assist architects in Canada and provides an instructional resource for architectural students, intern architects, and others. CHOP is the result of a great collaborative effort by the architectural profession from every region of the country.

The third edition of CHOP (released February 2021) is available to all members of the public. It is applicable to those taking the Examination for Architects in Canada (ExAC). It can be accessed at https://chop.raic.ca.
