3.5.1 Affixing Seals

The Architects Act stipulates the requirement to seal specific documents. This requirement is described in detail in Regulatory Notice RN.01. At present, a professional seal issued by the OAA may be applied manually, as a scanned image, or as part of a secure digital signature. Given that most documents are now issued electronically rather than as hard copies, the latter two options are likely the most practical means of affixing a seal. This can be accomplished through any number of file types and software packages.
