Senior Technologist

ABBARCH’s Toronto office has an immediate need to fill the position of Senior Technologist for large retail developments.

Qualifications include:

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Strong in-depth working knowledge of Revit
• Good understanding of worksharing interface required
• Familiarity with provincial building codes nationwide
• Must be a self-starter, with ability to work in a team setting
• Ability to prioritize and manage tight deadlines for multiple projects
• Excellent communication, problem solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
• Graphic skills and proficiency with Enscape Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is an asset
• Advanced knowledge of BIM Software (Revit) and AutoCAD. Utilize BIM software to create 3D models and coordinate with project teams.

Duties include:

• Working on multiple projects with internal team members and consultants from design development to construction completion
• Preparation and issuance of all deliverables (Permit, Bid, Construction, etc.)
• Assist inhouse project teams in complete Revit project setup
• Assist in transferring firm’s CAD standards into Revit standards
• Creating parametric Revit families
• Coordinating and conducting scope trips
• Mentoring junior staff members

Salary Range70 - 85k
