We are committed to innovative, inclusive and high-quality design and are currently seeking an Intermediate Architectural Designer to join our team

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist in the design development, presentations and production of architectural projects
• Prepare technical drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit depending on the scale of the project.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with Ontario Building Code and project requirements
• Collaborate with the team on design concepts and project execution

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Architecture degree or higher
• Minimum 4 years of Relevant experience in an architecture firm
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp(mandatory) and working experience in Revit (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Working knowledge of primary programs in Adobe Creative Suite
• General understanding of Ontario Building Code (OBC) and permitting processes
• Knowledge of developing and coordinating documents at all phases of work
• Ability to work with medium-level supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to represent and align with our studio culture
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid work environment (mix of in-office and remote work as required)

Salary Range $60K minimum; commensurate with applicable experience and qualifications
