Intermediate Architect /Project Manager (On-site)
ZO1 Architects is a progressive architectural firm specializing in small to large-scale, high-density and
multi-phase developments from concept design to construction completion. We are a group of passionate
architects and interior designers who has extensive design and development experience in the Greater
Toronto Area.
Our portfolio of work is diverse. We are currently working on a wide range of projects from low to high-rise
to large-scale mixed-use development. We are specialized in residential, senior living, long-term care,
retail commercial, luxury hotel and office. Most of our projects are working directly with established
developers or non-profit organization in the Greater Toronto Area.

Qualifications:
- MP
- lan Approval to Building Permit and Tender phase in Ontario/ GTA context.
- Bachelors of Architecture Degree and/or a Master of Architecture or Bachelors of Interior Design
- Experience and expertise particularly in high density residential, hotel, commercial, low rise wood
- frame, or senior living (assist/ life-lease).
- Advanced working knowledge of Revit software a requirement
- Responsible for ensuring high level of construction documentation accuracy for medium to largesized
- residential and commercial projects.
- Knowledge in preparing drawing sets for zoning, site plan approval, building permit, tender and
- construction.
- Advance knowledge in OBC Part 3 and Part 9.
- Assist in construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, specifications, and site
- instructions.
- Familiar with wall/ ceiling types and building science on envelope and carry forward the elevation
- design and materials use to develop plan/ section details/door schedules, room schedule and various
- schedules for permit / tender issues.. Able to set out the wall, floor, slab edge with proper relationship
- for development of working drawings.
- Take the lead to coordinate with relevant consultants to complete Zoning, SPA, Building Permit and
- Tender and construction drawings.
- Able to understand client brief, various municipal bylaws and urban design guidelines.
- Proficient knowledge in the use of building materials and related construction techniques
- Able to provide and receive feedback positively
- Assist with construction administration activities, including shop drawing review, specifications, and
- site instructions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal team members,
- clients, consultants, city officials.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding and ability to follow instruction, working directly with Principal architects
- Positive and proactive attitude in providing support for project teams
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must live in Canada currently and have legal authorization to work in Canada
Offered compensation will be based on individual qualifications. The expected range is: $60,00.00 - $85,000.
