The Role:

Mitchell Jensen Architects is seeking an experienced Intermediate or Senior Project Manager to assume a central and highly-valued role within our office, guiding projects through all phases of the design and construction process.  Primary duties will include:

• Manage staff resources through the production of working drawings and specifications

• Manage the project delivery process, including scheduling, documentation, and communication

• Work closely with clients through all phases of the project

• Oversee subconsultant communication, scheduling, and coordination

• Oversee compliance with authorities having jurisdiction

• Oversee the tender process

• Be responsible for construction administration

• Assist in mentoring and educating junior staff

The position is located in our North Bay office and will require applicants to perform their duties in-office.  Travel to project sites will also be required.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor degree in architecture or diploma in architectural technology from an accredited post-secondary institution

• Minimum 5 years experience

• Proficiency in Autocad, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office Suite (Revit skills an asset)

• Ability to manage staff resources and multi-disciplinary consultant teams

• Ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and type

• Excellent technical knowledge of building construction, detailing, and building codes

• Excellent knowledge of OAA and CCDC contracts

Salary Range:  $65-$85k per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
