As a BIM Lead for a complex project, you will play a critical role in driving BIM strategies, ensuring seamless integration of digital workflows, and optimizing project delivery. This position is dedicated entirely to a large, complex project, requiring deep expertise in BIM management, coordination, and advanced computational design tools.

Reporting to the BIM Director and Project Leadership, you will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with project-specific BIM standards, coordinating digital collaboration, and proactively resolving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead BIM implementation for a large, multi-phase, complex project, ensuring adherence to client and company standards.

• Manage and enforce project BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), coordinating with all project stakeholders, including consultants and contractors.

• Direct model coordination efforts, overseeing clash detection, model integration, and issue resolution.

• Administer the Common Data Environment (CDE), ensuring proper workflows, version control, and information sharing.

• Optimize and automate digital workflows, integrating BIM with computational design tools (Rhino/Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python).

• Facilitate digital coordination meetings, serving as the main point of contact for all project BIM-related discussions.

• Ensure alignment with LOD (Level of Development) and LOIN (Level of Information Need) targets, managing asset data and ensuring compliance with client deliverables.

• Participate in drawing production under the guidance of project leadership, ensuring high-quality documentation aligned with project standards.

• Mentor and train project team members, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the BIM Director to drive digital innovation and implement advanced modeling strategies.

• Continuously monitor industry trends, integrating cutting-edge solutions to enhance efficiency and project outcomes.

What You Will Bring 

• 10+ years of experience in BIM management, including leading complex or large-scale projects (P3 or equivalent preferred).

• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Construction Cloud for high-level project execution.

• Deep knowledge of model coordination processes, including clash detection, federated models, and consultant data integration.

• Experience managing digital workflows across architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines.

• Proficiency in computational design tools (Rhino/Grasshopper, Dynamo, Python) for advanced modeling and automation.

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate high-stakes project environments.

• Understanding of digital construction methodologies, including GIS integration, VR/AR applications, and sustainability modeling.

• Proven track record of BIM training, mentorship, and process optimization on large-scale projects.

• Ability to develop and enforce QA/QC processes for BIM deliverables.

Salary Starting from $70,000
