Our current work spans a variety of project types including multi-family housing, mixed use commercial, housing developments and retirement residences. We have projects located throughout Northumberland County and Ottawa.

Job Description:
We are looking for an Intermediate - Senior Technologist with strong technical skills to join our team. This is a permanent full time position. The candidate will be working directly with the Principal on new housing developments, which include single-family, semi-detached, and townhomes. It is preferable for the candidate to work in-office, but a remote position can be considered with the right experience.

Required qualifications and skills:

• 5-10+ years of experience working for an Architecture firm with a focus on light wood-frame residential projects.

• Ability to manage small-scale residential projects autonomously

• The ability to anticipate point loads, beams and girder truss locations.

• Experience in Part 3 is strongly encouraged

• Experience coordinating consultants and communicating with local municipalities.

• Experience reviewing truss and floor shop drawings

• Experience reviewing steel shop drawings

• Ability to produce clear, thorough and thoughtful construction documents and details.

• Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe CS Suite, and Sketchup.

• Experience working with the OBC and local zoning bylaws.

• Experience detailing party walls and firewalls.

• Experience in Contract Administration.

• Strict adherence to established drawing standards

• Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills

Compensation will be based on experience, Salary Range $70,000 - $90,000
