Cusimano Architect Incorporated is an award winning small to mid-size architectural office, with a varied portfolio of both public and private work currently underway.

Our office is centrally located (Allen Rd and 401) in a large studio – loft type atmosphere with an abundance of free parking.

Our ongoing work within the Retail, sector has presented a need to attain additional staff immediately to work in the office.  Based on our past, current and projected workload we are currently looking for qualified architects / intern architects or architectural technologists to work independently from concept to completion. 

MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED  (preferably executing prototype and retrofit for the likes of Tim Horton’s, Pizza Pizza, Dollarama’s, and similar retailers). Qualified individuals will oversee projects from their initial concept through to the completion of construction. We are looking for an inherently organized, ambitious and versatile individuals who follow instructions (without deviations), do not need constant supervision and can work independently.

Qualifications and skills required at minimum are the following:

• Proficiency in Revit and Auto Cad.
  Proficiency in Procore and other Management Software.

• Knowledge of 3D modeling software (3ds Max, Rhino).
  Knowledge and understanding of both Part 3 and Part 9 of the OBC.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  Strong design sense, technical drafting skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, and coordinate information between drawings.

• Ability to take concept design drawings through to detailed construction documents.

• Experience with contract administration a plus.

• Ability to work independently, manage time and meet deadlines.
  
  

Duties may include:

• Production of both presentation and architectural drawings adequate for making site plan/building permit applications and including tender/construction documentation.

• Production of 3D models and renderings.

• Developing office Revit standards and drawing library.
