Candidates for OAA Council Elections Announced!
Ballots Coming November 10
Nominations to fill the upcoming vacancies on the OAA’s governing Council for the 2026 - 2028 term have now closed. Ballots will be emailed to eligible voters on November 10, with voting ending on November 24.
For the two Central Ontario seats, Loloa Alkasawat and Thomas Yeung will be acclaimed.

Three candidates are running for the Limited Licence Holder seat. Click here to see their statements.
Each electoral district is assigned a specific number of seats within Council, and there is also a seat for holders of a limited licence. Only Architects with an address of record within the electoral district can vote for candidates running for those seats, while while Licensed Technologists vote for the limited licence seat. All Architects can also vote for the Province of Ontario seat. If you are unsure of the electoral district to which you belong, please verify your address of record and consult our electoral district map.
