My name is James (Jamie) Lipson, and I am running to represent the City of Toronto on OAA Council.

Toronto has been my home for many years, and the place where I have spent my professional career working hard to make positive contributions to our built environment.

Having received my architectural license in 2024, I hope to bring a fresh perspective to Council and offer on-the-ground insights to help navigate the many headwinds facing our profession today. I believe that my experience and expertise makes me highly qualified to support the vision, mandate, and strategic plan of the OAA.

If elected, I promise to apply a thoughtful and progressive approach to policy and design in order to ensure our members have the necessary conditions to continue creating sustainable, resilient, and beautiful architecture.
