The Ontario Library Association has opened its call for submissions for the 2024 Library Architectural and Design Transformation Award. The award recognizes excellence in the renovation, restoration, and interior redesign of libraries within Ontario between July 2021 and July 2024. Submissions will be accepted from March to May, with an entry fee required by June 5. Entries must showcase innovative design solutions that address societal, technical, and environmental advancements, as well as architectural preservation. An esteemed panel of architects and library professionals will evaluate entries based on their individual merits. Winners will be honored at the Annual Institute on the Library as Place event, receiving awards and certificates of recognition. For more details and to access the submission form, click here.
