After a summer break, the OAA’s Continuing Education Webinar Series returns, with virtual learning opportunities for professional development and to earn structured ConEd hours.
On September 7, “Achieving Climate Goals through Adaptive Reuse and Retrofit,” led by HOK’s Susan Rowley and Stefan Abidin, will offer insight into Canada’s climate targets and show how to discern between operational and embodied carbon in buildings, with a focus on opportunities for material choices in wall assemblies. This session qualifies for the mandatory Climate Action requirement.
The following week, on September 14, CSA Group’s James Reid, Dwayne Torrey, and Andy Kwong present “CSA Access Program 101: How to Access and Use the Free Program for OAA Architects.”
Do you want to present to Ontario’s architecture profession? The Association is currently seeking presenters and topics for its popular virtual learning series—find out more about what is required on the OAA Website and submit by September 23.
