As required in regulation under the
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the 2015 barrier-free accessibility requirements in
Ontario’s Building Code, the Design of Public Spaces Standards Development Committee recently released its report,
Improving Accessible Built Environment Standards: 2025 Final Recommendations. To learn more about the report and see the new recommendations,

In addition to design of public standards, a recommendations report was also prepared as it pertains to improving accessible customer services standards.
