The City of Hamilton is has announced that submissions are now open for the 2025 Urban Design and Architecture Awards. The biennial event celebrates excellence in urban design and architecture, highlighting sustainable projects that contribute positively to Hamilton's built environment and community well-being.

The deadline to submit projects is Friday, June 27 at 4 PM.

Eligible projects include completed works such as buildings, additions, restorations, adaptive reuse initiatives, streetscapes, parks, public art installations, ecological designs, planning studies, and student projects. The awards emphasize innovation, sustainability, and community impact, making them an opportunity to showcase creative and forward-thinking design work.

All architects, urban designers, planners, owners, contractors, engineers, students, and related professionals are encouraged to participate.
