The City of Cambridge and the developer have reached a settlement regarding the proposed development at 32, 36 and 38 Grand Ave., which the Ontario Land Tribunal will consider on Oct. 27.
The settlement lowers the proposed height from 28 storeys to 22 and includes increased setbacks and stepbacks, additional heritage protection and changes to the streetscape intended to reduce impacts on neighbouring properties.
“These elements were not included in the original application,” the city said.
The development has been before the OLT since September 2025. The city and developer were the only parties to the proceeding.
City officials recently met with area residents to present the revised proposal.
