The Building Code Commission (the Commission) has revealed that it is seeking applications for new part-time Members, offering an opportunity for qualified individuals to help resolve technical disputes under Ontario's Building Code.
The Commission is an adjudicative tribunal that holds hearings and issues decisions on disputes between affected parties regarding whether the technical requirements of the Building Code have been sufficiently met. Its mandate also includes hearing and deciding disputes over time periods for site inspections and for the processing of building permit applications.
