1.5 ConEd Learning Hours
Hosted by Revizto
The purpose of this session is to review how integrating a digital coordination process will reduce changes, improve stakeholder relationships and accountability, and reduce the costs related to design changes.
Learning Objectives:
In this session, we will discuss how a digital coordination workflow impacts the following architectural concerns:
1. Integrate real-time communication on identified issues to produce immediate feedback from stakeholders, including those working remotely;
2. Add valuable context such as referencing the 2D drawings, the 3D models, an X,Y,Z location, and rich data elements related to the objects in question;
3. Reduce the need for time-consuming real-world meetings because many issues will be resolved in real-time before they are assigned to a meeting agenda;
4. Centralize and archive communication in a single place;
5. Automatically generate reports to keep on members of the project team up to date;
6. Reference other information such as checklists, site conditions, and installation verifications; and
7. Leverage this information throughout the lifecycle of the project for estimation, renovations, and facilities management.
