Through the use of Diamond Schmitt case studies we will uncover why Building Information Models are so powerful, the processes of building information modeling, as well as the structures required for building information management. We will demonstrate how different digital project delivery services and deliverables are implemented throughout the project design phases to service design goals.

Director of Design Technologies
Claudia is a licensed architect in Ontario and serves extensively as an advocate of BIM in Canada, she is a Vice-President of buildingSMART Canada, founder and chair of the Toronto BIM Community (tBIMc), and a board member of AECO Innovation Lab. Claudia is a leading member of the development of the Canadian BIM National Survey and was a BIM subject matter expert for the recent RAIC Canadian Handbook of Practice. She is an OAA mentor and has spoken at several conferences and guest lecturer on BIM, openBIM and technology in architectural practice.
Victor Lima B.Eng Dipl.Arch.Tech
Senior BIM Manager
Victor has a B.Eng in Civil Engineer and an Advanced Diploma in Architectural Technology. At DSA he has been involved in a variety of project from transit to residential/mixed-used buildings providing construction documents and design development. Further, he has worked in different facets of BIM research, and specialized in BIM applications for architectural management processes. Victor manages the implementation of BIM for all DSA projects and is guest speaker and mentor to architectural technology students on BIM and architectural technology practices.
Adam Ward
BIM Manager
Adam has over 10 years of experience within the architectural industry. Prior to specializing in BIM, he gained a wealth of experience working primarily on hospital and interior design projects. He has become a subject matter expert on BIM and it’s supporting technology, focused on upskilling and training at DSA, developing and managing BIM content, creating standards and workflows, and tests new software for enhancing digital project delivery. Adam has also been exploring Reality Capture technology to assist the architectural teams gain insights into the built environment.
