About the Instructor:
Syed Abid, Director of Commercial Business, HVAC Division
With over 20 years of HVAC and Fluid Flow industry experience across South Asia, the Middle East, and Canada in diverse role of Application, Sales, Marketing, Business Management and Planning. Syed has in depth knowledge of Application of HVAC systems and a thorough understanding of Codes and Standards. He is currently responsible for the development and implementation of the Commercial Business sales and marketing strategies for the Commercial, Applied and Ventilation segments of HVAC-Division at Mitsubishi Electric Sales Canada Inc.
Syed was part of design team assisting application of 2-Pipe water source VRF system in Canada’s first Zero Carbon Design Certified office building. Syed also played key role in the conceptual design stage of 2-pipe water source VRF system application in Greater Toronto Area high-rise residential condominium buildings. Syed on numerous occasions was invited by the industry associations to speak about application of HVAC technologies in the buildings systems.
