ULI Toronto's Curtner Urban Leadership Program brings together emerging and mid-career leaders from across the city-building industry to develop their leadership skills, expand their networks, and collaborate on innovative solutions to the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the Greater Toronto Area.

The program's mission is to cultivate the next generation of industry leaders by immersing emerging and mid-career professionals in the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of the Greater Golden Horseshoe, while fostering thought leadership, collaboration, and innovation across the real estate and land use sectors.
2026/27 Program at a Glance
This year's program theme is "From Challenge to Opportunity: Embracing Urban Leadership for a Future Toronto Region". Centering the program on rebooting and building up your leadership potential, through engagement and content, we will focus on who you are as an emerging leader and equipping you to see the challenges of the next ten years facing the Toronto region as opportunities for personal and professional growth.
The Curtner Urban Leadership Program Features
- Eight full-day sessions delivered monthly from October 2026 to May 2027Leadership development curriculum featuring DISC Assessment, coaching, and two workshops with Vanessa Judelman
- Access to senior leaders from the public, private, and non-profit sectors

Emerging and mid-career professionals working in or alongside the real estate and land use industry who are looking to strengthen their leadership skills, expand their network, and help shape the future of city building in the Greater Toronto Area.
Candidate Criteria
Career Level: Mid-career professionals
Education: Undergraduate degree or higher
Experience: Minimum 5 years in real estate or a related sector.
Cohort size: (up to) 30 participants.
