The Greater Toronto Area (GTA) housing market continues to face unprecedented challenges, and stakeholders at every level are searching for solutions. This timely webinar brings together industry leaders and policy experts to address the most pressing questions affecting homebuyers, builders, and communities. This final webinar of a two-part series will address questions such as: What can each level of government do to assist the currently weak housing market in Canada? What is really going on with the condo market in the Greater Toronto Area? What are the biggest challenges facing the homebuilding industry?

Hunter Milborne - Chairman & Broker of Record, Milborne Group
Hunter Milborne is a Canadian real estate entrepreneur and philanthropist known for founding The Milborne Real Estate Group and investing in and operating Sotheby’s International Realty master franchises. He is also the co-founder of World Housing, a non-profit that has provided more than 4,500 homes for people living in developing world slums in Cambodia, Manilla, Haiti, Mexico, El Salvador, Columbia and Brazil. Hunter is a principal investor in land development and mixed-use projects where he currently has more than 12 million buildable square feet under development in Ontario, British Columbia, and Florida.

Ben is the President and owner of Bullpen Research & Consulting Inc. With over 20 years of real estate research experience in both the United States and Canada, Ben has established himself as an industry expert, and a go to source for the latest information and insight on the domestic residential housing market. 

Justin Sherwood - SVP, Communicants, Research and Stakeholder Relations, Building and Land Development Association (BILD)
Justin Sherwood is the Senior Vice President of Communications, Research and Stakeholder Relations of the Building Industry and Land Development Association GTA (BILD), a position he has held since February 2018. Prior to joining BILD, he held senior positions at The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta and in the Central and Southern European Business Unit, was the President of the Canadian Beverage Association and the Western Canadian Vice-President for the Canadian Council of Grocery Distributors. Justin has a bachelor’s degree from Carleton University, a postgraduate diploma from Humber College and completed the Queen’s University Executive Program.
