The Masonry and the Green Transition Conference is the first and only of its kind for the Masonry Industry within North America. The Conference will work to connect key masonry industry personnel with both government and private sector resources which will assist in the acceleration of the green transition for the masonry industry. This conference provides a great opportunity for Government Agencies, NGO’s and consultants to connect with the masonry industry as it develops solutions to transition to the Green Economy.

The Climate Crisis will be the most significant challenge humanity will face over the coming decades. The time for action is now. The Government of Canada has set aggressive emissions reductions targets which aim to have Canada Carbon Neutral by 2050. To achieve these targets industries in Canada will have to adapt to implement low carbon solutions into their business operations. The impact the Green Transition to the Green Economy will have on Canadian business will be profound, the masonry industry is no exception. The pathway forward for the industry is still being set. The intention of this virtual conference is to connect the industry with the right resources which will begin to set the pathway forward for the Masonry Industry in the Green Economy.
