TIME: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Our workplaces, and our cities, have an experience deficit. As organizations continue to debate the return-to-office vs hybrid work model, and our cities struggle to revitalize post-pandemic, the central question of what truly attracts people to a workplace or urban destination is often overlooked.
People crave spaces that inspire connection, creativity, and imagination. Above all, they want their workplaces, and cities, to provide a positive experience. Likewise, since the best workplaces perform within an ecosystem beyond the office-the vibrancy of our workplaces and our cities are inextricably linked.
To explore the role of architecture and design in creating spaces that spark creativity and curiosity, Gensler's Joy Charbonneau will speak to the shift in mindset required to foster inspiring spaces. Charbonneau will also highlight the Gensler Research Institute's Global Workplace and City Pulse Surveys, to finally answer the question: What really draws people to a space?
