Session Abstract:
Technical Requirements for Precast Concrete Wall Assemblies document issued by Pro-Demnity highlights the importance of proper design, installation, and testing to achieve performance goals. This session will use Pro-Demnity 's Technical Requirements as a framework to discuss the building science fundamentals applied to architectural single-wythe precast panels and double-wythe integrally insulated precast panels. We will illustrate best-practices design details and discuss recommendations.

About the Speaker:
Sarah Gray, P.Eng., CAHP - Principal, Senior Building Science Specialist at RDH Building Science Inc.
Sarah Gray has been in the building science field for 25 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a Master of Science in historic preservation from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work is focussed on heritage building rehabilitation, existing building condition assessment and deep retrofits, building enclosure consulting for new construction, serving as the IBEC for the Pro-Demnity Technical Requirements, and providing Building Enclosure Commissioning services.
