This FREE webinar provides an overview of the Ontario Association of Architects’ (OAA) Continuing Education (ConEd) program, highlighting recent policy updates and practical tools to support compliance. Participants will learn about the shift to an auditing model, new administrative suspension processes, and the benefits of ongoing professional development. The webinar also offers step-by-step guidance on how to record and track ConEd hours using the upgraded transcript system, and introduces opportunities for members to contribute to the program as ConEd speakers.
Learning Objectives:
- Understand Key Policy Updates: Learners will be able to explain the recent OAA policy changes, including the transition to an auditing model and the implementation of administrative suspensions for non-compliance.
- Recognize the Value of Continuing Education: Learners will be able to identify the professional, regulatory, and ethical benefits of participating in the OAA’s ConEd program.
- Accurately Log and Track ConEd Hours: Learners will be able to navigate the updated transcript features and correctly enter, manage, and verify their Continuing Education hours.
