The second event of the Fall 2024 Series is scheduled for after Study Week, on Mon. Oct. 21, 2024 at 5:45 pm in the Lecture Hall. The guest lecturer will be architect Camille Mitchell from SvN - Architects + Planners (Toronto, ON). This lecture is presented by the OAA. It is free and open to all.
In the progressive struggle to build equality and opportunity into the architectural profession, Camille Mitchell is a standout leader. An Architect with the Toronto office of SvN Architects + Planners, Camille leverages her achievements in architecture to advocate for the involvement of under-represented groups in the design of their built environments. Camille is a founding member of the independent organizations Building Equality in Architecture Toronto and Black Architects + Interior Designer Association. Camille is the 2022 recipient of the G. Randy Roberts Service Award from the OAA in recognition of the contributions to the architectural profession.
