Artificial intelligence is often framed as a tool for innovation, but it carries real climate and systemic costs. This session explores AI’s carbon and water footprint, psychological and economic risks, and issues of privacy and intellectual property while also highlighting human-centered, sustainable approaches. Participants will leave with a critical framework for evaluating AI adoption in architectural practice.
