The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada and the Ontario Association of Architects invite you to participate in the Festival of Architecture to be held May 24-27, 2017 in Ottawa.
The four-day Festival celebrates the theme of Architecture 150. As Canadians mark our country's 150th anniversary, we will pause to consider the role of architecture in creating our built heritage and expressing our culture. Architecture profoundly affects people; it forms the buildings and communities that Canadians call home, and it reflects the values of society. The work of architects contributes to well-being, quality of life and economic prosperity. As Canadians increasingly appreciate design, we seek to increase public awareness of the role of architects.
In 2017, as we celebrate the cultural legacy of past generations, we will look at how the architects of today and tomorrow will exercise leadership in creating livable and sustainable communities shaped by design excellence.
Don't miss this exceptional event to ignite the future of architecture while reflecting on our heritage and cultural past!
