Speakers from FXCollaborative will present the New York-based projects 495 Eleventh Avenue and La Central (EDI Award of Excellence winners in 2025 and 2024, respectively), two large-scale developments that pair architectural innovation with a deep commitment to affordability, sustainability, and community. From a mixed-use tower on Manhattan's West Side to a new district transforming a vacant lot in the South Bronx, both show how thoughtful design can serve residents at every income level while strengthening the neighborhoods around them.
Attendees will come away with a clearer picture of how equitable development is being put into practice and what these projects offer as models for cities elsewhere.
