Langdon Hall by Maged Basilious

I completed this painting of Langdon Hall (Cambridge, Ont.) last summer. This magnificent summer home was built in 1898 employing the Federal Revival style. Langdon Hall was the venue for my son's wedding last fall. I made the painting as a gift to my son and his bride on their wedding day. The framed painting was displayed during the reception and was a nice conversation piece. The 22"x30" painting was completed in ink and watercolour on 140-lb paper. Hand sketching is a rewarding experience when everything else is being done digitally.
