Conducted during the annual renewals period of early 2024, this is the fourth edition of a voluntary and anonymous survey collecting race-based and other identity-relevant data to provide a baseline for measuring progress as the Association works to better address equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in the architecture profession. It is based on the original 2021 edition developed in consultation with equity consultant Nicole Bernhardt, and was reviewed by EDI consultant Hollie Turner from Empowered, with minor updates made with a view to ensuring terminology remains current and content is accurate and up-to-date.
