The current Practice Tip (PT) refers to the use of the 2013 version of CCDC 15. The proposed supplementary conditions have not yet been updated to reflect the changes made in the 2026 version of this contract. Do not use unmodified if the newer versions of the CCDC contract is being used.  

Effective January 1, 2026, significant amendments to the Construction Act  and its associated regulations came into force, affecting both contracts for professional services for construction. Work is underway to update the OAA Contract Suite and guides to reflect these changes. Click here to learn more. 

Until an updated PT is issued, legal advice should be obtained before the content of this PT is used as the basis for amending new contracts.
